Ice Hockey Classic - USA vs CANADA

Australia will play host to North America�s finest and most passionate ice hockey players when USA takes on Canada in the highly anticipated inaugural 2015 Ice Hockey Classic. Team lineups will include current NHL players and will be coached by international ice hockey royalty, and STOPCONCUSSIONS co-founders, Keith Primeau (USA) and brother Wayne Primeau (CDN).

Four high-intensity matches will be played in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth this June. As well as showcasing top quality ice hockey, the 2015 Classic will be raising awareness and money for STOPCONCUSSIONS, a not-for-profit concussion and neurotrauma awareness and education platform co-founded by former European hockey star Kerry Goulet.

Rugby League's showpiece event, the Holden State of Origin Series is coming to Melbourne in 2015 for the first time in 18 years at the MCG. Australia's greatest rivalry will re-ignite at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday, June 17.

With everything to play for it is sure to be another thrilling chapter in Rugby League folklore.

Roma will then face Manchester City on Tuesday July 21 at 7.45pm, before the tournament concludes on Friday July 24 with a thrilling clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City, also at 7.45pm.

It will be the first, and perhaps only, time that football fans have the opportunity to see this inimitable group of European league champions competing in Australia.

The competition will be fierce, with all three participating clubs presently alive in the UEFA Champions League and vying for their respective national titles.

Spring racing returns to Flemington in September, with six days of exhilarating action on the track and iconic style and sophistication around the racecourse, it�s never too early for you to start planning your Melbourne Cup Carnival experience.
The Melbourne Cup is Australia's major thoroughbred horse race. Marketed as "the race that stops a nation", it is a 3,200 metre race for three-year-olds and over. It is the richest "two-mile" handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races. Conducted annually by the Victoria Racing Club on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Victoria, the event starts at 3pm (daylight saving time) on the first Tuesday in November.

Following on from the release of its worldwide Number One album �Rock Or Bust�, legendary band AC/DC will perform at Etihad Stadium on Sunday 6 December as part of its Rock Or Bust Worldwide tour.
AC/DC last toured internationally from 2008-2010 with the �Black Ice� World Tour, which had the band playing to more than 5 million fans in 108 cities spanning 28 countries. Box office records were smashed in Australia and New Zealand with 750,000 tickets sold!

When AC/DC visited Etihad Stadium in February 2010 performing three concerts over five nights, close to 182,000 fans witnessed the rock greats deliver explosive shows, setting a new venue attendance record.

The Rock or Bust World Tour begins in Holland on May 5 and will play dates in Europe through to July. The North American leg commences in August through to September before the band head to Australia and New Zealand. When tickets went on sale in Europe, �Rock or Bust� World Tour sold 1.75 million tickets in 24 hours!

Sir Elton John and His Band return to Australia in December as part of his international "All The Hits Tour". As part of this tour Elton John will play at the Qantas Credit Union Arena (formerly Sydney Entertainment Centre) on 19 December which will be the final concert in that arena prior to its scheduled closure.
The tour will feature iconic hits and classic album tracks from throughout his incredible five-decade career, including a selection of songs from his highly acclaimed album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a Deluxe Edition.
